Our parish has been established in downtown Anchorage since 1915 when railroad construction workers asked Bishop Crimont to send priests for the 30 or so Catholics. The present church was built between 1946 and 1958, and we have been a Cathedral since 1966, when the Archdiocese of Anchorage was created. Dominicans have shared in this ministry since 1974.
Inspired by the Holy Family, we strive through God’s grace to grow in holiness by sharing our diverse gifts in liturgy, prayer and service to all people.
